Silence

Christine Cahoon   Fri 13 Nov 2020

It’s amazing here... not many places that everything is so still

I hear a leaf fall from a tree as autumn closes in
I hear the sound of sheep pulling and munching on grass
I hear the sound of a bird looking for worms on the forest floor
I hear the sound of the wind going through heron’s wings
I hear a bee humming as flies pass
I hear a goose honking overhead
In the distance, I hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
